Mount Gravatt markets
When: Every Sunday 6am-12pm
Where: Mount Gravatt Showgrounds, Logan Road, Mount Gravatt
Specialising in fruit and vegetables, second hand goods and flea market stalls, the bustling mount Gravatt Markets offer an overwhelming selection of produce, honey, flowers, plants, accessories, and second hand merchandise all at affordable prices.
Northey Street City Farm Organic Markets
When: Every Sunday 6am-11am
Where: Northey Street, Windsor
One of the best spots in the city to pick up fresh organic fruit, vegetables, breads, meat, preserves and dairy. These markets are also a fantastic place to grab a cup of coffee and just wander around, finding fresh flowers and delicious organic snacks for later in the week.
Eagle Farm Markets
When: Every Sunday 7am-12.30am
Where: Brisbane Racing Club, Lancaster Road, Ascot
With over 100 market stalls featuring a massive range of seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh meats, poultry, seafood, flowers and plants, gourmet delights, specialty stalls and fashion stalls There is also on-site entertainment, pony rides, and plenty of activities for the little ones and the whole family to enjoy.
Village Markets at Kelvin Grove
When: Every Saturday 6am-1pm
Where: Kelvin Grove Urban Village, Blamey Street, Kelvin Grove
These markets are a top spot to visit with plenty of fresh produce to offer and over 90 stallholders on hand to help supply freshly grown fruit and vegetables to the masses. You can also get your hands on a large range of international food, clothing, arts and crafts, plants, knick-knacks and more.
Powerhouse Farmers Markets
When: Every Saturday 6am-12pm
Where: Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm
This busy Brisbane Farmers Market is a great place to spend a Saturday morning, with a selection of breakfast foods to choose from as well as a cheap fresh selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables. New Farm park is also just a stone’s throw away, with a huge playground for the kids as well as a City Cat stop.
Brisbane City Farmers Markets
When: Every Wednesday 8am-6pm
Where: Queens Street Mall, Brisbane City
These Brisbane Markets bring the country right into the city with farm fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh juices, honey, bread, meat, seafood, small goods, and hot foods from all around the world. Each stall is hand-picked to showcase Brisbane’s finest fresh produce.
Saturday Fresh Markets at Rocklea
When: Every Saturday & Sunday 6am-12pm
Where: 252 Sherwood Road, Rocklea
There isn’t much you won’t find at the famous Rocklea Markets, with over 220 stalls these markets feature a huge selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, quality meats & poultry, freshly cut flowers, baked goods, dairy products, gourmet products, lifestyle products and live entertainment.
Carseldine Farmers & Artisan Markets
When: Every Saturday 6am-12pm
Where: The Old QUT Carseldine Campus, 532 Corner Beans & Dorville Roads, Carseldine
These Markets are North Brisbane’s very own genuine produce, foodie and craft market with a large range of wares, in-season fresh produce from South East Queensland, traditional and gourmet foods, and market provisions all made by passionate local growers, farmers, painters, cooks, designers, bakers, butchers, and fishmongers.
Davies Park Market
When: Every Saturday 6am-2pm
Where: Davies Park, West End
A great weekly community event featuring music with fresh produce and healthy food, gifts and fashion under a giant canopy of giant fig trees. These markets have a wide array of products and produce that you won’t find anywhere else in Brisbane.
